HOT PINK: HYR FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

  • HYR Sound Bath Friday, October 9th

  • Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit Classes Saturday October 10th @ both HYR Locations.

Allegra Andreoli is a senior at Tamalpais High School, a Varsity Soccer athlete, and the kind of person who gets very calm when the stakes get very high.

During Tam’s 2025 MCAL championship run, Allegra, then a sophomore, stepped into a pressure-packed penalty shootout and buried one of the opening kicks, helping secure Tam’s first league title since 2019–20.

That confidence and purpose extend beyond the field. Allegra cares deeply about youth health and breast cancer research. This fall, she’ll help HYR lead its Breast Cancer Awareness efforts.

“If I’m going to train hard, I want it to mean something, for my mind, body and community.”

Allegra loves to travel, read, experiment in the kitchen and unwind with citrus-chamomile tea. At HYR, she trains the way she competes: embrace the challenge, do the work, keep getting stronger.

For Allegra, effort is the point.

And she’s nowhere near finished.

Allegra Andreoli

Tamalpais. Senior. Varsity Soccer.

Mercedes Chong

Tamalpais. Senior. Varsity Field Hockey. Captain.

Mercedes Chong is a senior at Tamalpais High School, a Varsity Field Hockey athlete, and team captain. She’s driven, disciplined and not particularly interested in backing down from a challenge.

Field hockey changed the game for Mercedes. Through training and competition, she discovered how discipline builds confidence—and the power of being part of a team that expects you to show up and give everything you’ve got.

That’s what draws her to HYR. Mercedes believes fitness can transform mental health and confidence, and she wants more young people to experience what she found through sports.

“I want everyone to have the opportunity to feel supported, empowered and included through fitness and team sports.”

When she’s not training, Mercedes runs, draws, takes photos and catches the Bo sunset.

Captain. Athlete. Leader. Just getting started.

Mathilda Rosenblatt

Redwood. Freshman. JV Cheer.

As a freshman at Redwood High School, Mathilda Rosenblatt isn’t afraid to dive into something new. After years of rigorous classical ballet training, she traded the barre for the sidelines as a Junior Varsity Cheerleader—and brought the discipline, strength and fearlessness to be a flyer on day one.

Mathilda is happiest doing things: crushing a Hot Pilates class, raising money for charity, or testing something new in the kitchen. She loves a challenge, throws herself into whatever is next, and isn’t particularly interested in sitting on the sidelines.

That’s what she loves about HYR: show up, work hard, have fun, and leave ready for whatever comes next.

Jade George

Branson. Freshman. Soccer.

Jade George is a freshman at Branson who knows something about getting knocked down, and coming back stronger.

After a soccer injury led to surgery, Jade discovered Hot Yoga Republic as part of her recovery. Hot yoga helped her rebuild strength, flexibility and confidence—and showed her just how powerful the right kind of training can be, both physically and mentally.

Jade loves a challenge. Whether she’s taking on a tough class, getting stronger for her next season, supporting mental health awareness or pulling friends into HYR, she’s all in.

For Jade, being an athlete isn’t just about how hard you can go. It’s about learning how to recover, come back, and go again.

Avery Rose is a junior at Archie Williams High School and a two-sport varsity athlete, competing in both softball and volleyball.

She’s also a CEO in the making.

She’s competitive, smart, strong, and loves being part of a team—but she’s just as interested in what happens beyond the scoreboard.

Avery knows that showing up for your teammates, pushing yourself when things get hard, and bringing other people with you are all part of being an athlete.

As an HYR Student-Athlete Ambassador, Avery is ready to bring that same energy to the studio: work hard, have fun, support your people—and get after it.

Archie Williams. Junior. Varsity Softball. Varsity Volleyball.

Cora O’Connell

Tamalpais. Junior. Varsity Lacrosse.

Cora O’Connell is a junior at Tamalpais High School and a Girls Lacrosse athlete who knows that strength is built long before game day.

Lacrosse and hot yoga have taught her how to push through discomfort, build endurance, and keep going when things get hard. But for Cora, the biggest payoff isn’t just physical. Training gives her confidence, clears her head, and can completely change the trajectory of a tough day.

That’s what she wants to bring to HYR as a Student-Athlete Ambassador: the belief that showing up and doing something hard can make you feel stronger everywhere else, too.

Off the field and outside the studio, Cora runs, bakes, experiments in the kitchen—and is almost always looking for the next thing to take on.

Grace Cosper

Redwood. Sophomore. Soccer. Field Hockey.

Grace Cosper is a sophomore at Redwood High School and a two-sport athlete who plays defense in both soccer and field hockey—which tells you a lot about her.

She’s kind, thoughtful, but tough, competitive, and completely comfortable being the person standing between the other team and where they want to go. Grace brings that same intensity to Hot Pilates, where she loves being challenged, getting stronger, and finding out she has a little more in the tank.

As an HYR Student-Athlete Ambassador, Grace is ready to bring her competitive energy, school spirit and serious work ethic to the studio.

Defense is her position. Fierce is pretty much the job description.

Luka Ganadan.

Tamiscal. Freshman. San Francisco Ballet School.

Luka Ganadan is a powerhouse, a tiny powerhouse.

A Level 5 dancer at San Francisco Ballet School, she has grown up inside one of the most demanding disciplines in the world, training relentlessly, performing on major stages, and taking on roles including Clara in The Nutcracker.

Then came her first class at Hot Yoga Republic. She loved it. Immediately. The heat, the challenge, the music, the intensity—it felt like a completely different world from ballet, but required the same focus and willingness to dig deep.

And there’s another side to her. Her family hails from Hawaii, she grew up with Hawaiian-inspired reggae in the mix, and yes—put on some Maoli and she knows exactly what’s up.
